Certification means that a company voluntarily undergoes an annual inspection by an external company. During the inspection, checks are carried out into whether or not the company in question has a system in place for guaranteeing certain aspects (quality, environment, product requirements, etc.), that it follows the guidelines of the corresponding standard, and that it duly applies them. This system should not remain static – it should develop as the requirements and demands evolve. As such, the management of continuous improvement should be a fundamental part of the system. For a number of years now, INTERTEXT has held ISO 9001:2000 certification. We recently became the first company in Catalonia and the second in Spain to be awarded certification in accordance with the new European quality standard for translation services, UNE EN 15038. Our well-developed quality control system and the experience afforded to us by twenty years working in the field of translation management are the best guarantee of the quality of our services.
